Creation

Centralized heating system of city Bauska arises in autumn 1972, when was founded state enterprise- Bauskas region united heat nets and boilers direction. Small hard fuel boiler houses was closed and gas-based central boiler house as built at Dārza 11.
 Total heat power of boiler house reaches 55 MW, planning heating of big greenhouse in future.
 
Latvia Cabinet of Ministers in August 5,1992 issued decision no.315 "About state heat companys passing to regions
 municipalities". Based on this decision, Bauskas region peoples deputies council in 13.August, 1992, in 19-th term
 26. session issued decision "About Bauska state heat company passing to region municipality" and passed Bauska heat
 company from  Ministry of industry and energetics  to property of Bauska region municipality. Company was divided
 and passed to Bauska and Iecava municipalities. According to Bauska region peoples deputies council
 in 15.September, 1992, 20-th term 12. session decision "About foundation of Bauska city municipality heat
 company", on base of old state Heat company  Bauska city municipality Heat company was created.

 In 9-th November, 1992, companys statutes was registered. Main task of company is supply residents, organizations
 and other consumers in Bauska city according to concluded contracts. Company keep and exploit object from
 company balance: boiler houses, heat nets, provide houses heating and hot water supply system prophylaxis and
 repairs.

 In April 22h 2003, enterprise was reregistered in state commercial registry as government corporation SIA "Bauskas siltums".  After administrative reform in 2010 owner of capital parts is Bauskas City Council.  Enterprise administrative buiding is located at Dārza 8/1, Bauska, boiler house at Dārza 12.
